Our Mission

Communities Unified is an organization with the idea of bringing people together. Our goal is to serve the underprivileged adults and children of our community as well as donating money to other charitable organizations in need.

Why Communities Unified?

We had the idea of starting Communities Unified originally because of our school The Out-of-Door Academy. ODA places the idea of community service in our minds at an early age so starting a charity of our own was always an idea in the back of our heads. Since everyone at our school does community service, we wanted to do something unique and our own. The idea of Communities Unified was started our freshman year of highschool after covid. Communities all across America were divided. We originally wanted to bring people of our community and law enforcement together to show people that we should not fear police officers, but trust them to keep us safe.

About the Founders

Charlie Hugill

My name is Charlie Hugill and I am now a senior in highschool. I have gone to the Out-of-Door Academy since Pre-Kindergarten and I am now the captain of the Varsity soccer team as well as the leader of the Girl Talk club. My favorite organization that we work with is Shop with a Cop because it is so rewarding to see how happy kids are to pick out Christmas gifts during the holiday season.

Aubrey Robbins

My name is Aubrey Robbins and I am a senior in highschool. I went to IMG academy and I want to pursue collegiate lacrosse. I enjoy helping my community especially because my dad is a part of the Sarasota Police Department and I have grown up watching him help people.
